When you can't find what you want, you invent it yourself, right? That's exactly what I decided to do after struggling to find CLEAR jewelry bails! I found some that were cheap plastic, and there are myriad options of metal bails, but I wanted substantial CLEAR bails I could use on jewelry, ornaments, suncatchers and more! So I set out to find an artist who could make these to my specifications, and enough of them to offer them to you as well!

These are not fusible, but are handmade from borosilicate glass by torchwork. Because they are handmade, each one is unique, and while they are all generally similar, there are variations in size -- please know that not each one is uniform or predictably identical in size. Some will be larger, some will be smaller!

Yes, you can find very inexpensive metal alloy bails for less, but they also stick out like a sore thumb on some of your projects. And sterling silver bails this size can cost you $5.00 each or more! These can be easily affixed with your favorite glue or epoxy, and the look is a gorgeous complement to your glass! [NOTE: they are not compatible with COE 90 or COE 96 glass -- do not attempt to fuse these to your pieces]

Sizes are approximately 19-22 mm tall, 9.5-12 mm wide, and the inner diameter of the loop is approximately 5-6 mm wide (big enough to easily slip a jewelry chain through). See photos for dimensions.
